I just got a new graphics card this week and it works awesome on my system, only thing is when I use it my wireless can barely connect and when it finally does I get like 20% signal strength it says....

Hi, I just installed Ubuntu 8.04 and ran my wireless and noticed its extremely slow. On windows I get 90% signal strength, on Ubuntu I get 48% signal strength. That automatically means something is...

I have a Dell Demension 4100, 512 MB ram, 1.0Ghz, and for graphics card im not sure.

I have a 4 CDs of Ubuntu 8.04, 2 are ones they sent me and two are ones I burned. I tried all 4 and get same problem everytime.

What I'm doing is booting the CD from startup of PC. Then it boots...

yeah the jumpers are set right just I think im getting errors because the CD drive isnt plugged into cd ide port. But I still need help :/

My ide port for cd drive is broken on my PC so the only way to connect my cd drive is by ide cable for hard drive, so on one ide cable I have my hard drive and then I have my cd drive on the other...
